A Virtual Private Network (VPN) will allow you to gain secure remote access to the corporate network and server from any remote location.

A VPN allows a user to dial an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and then initiate a secure connection to the corporate Local Area Network (LAN).

This facility allows the user to access the Internet for regular web browsing and also access corporate data securely for the price of a local call. A VPN client can initiate the Internet connection from anywhere in the world and then access the corporate data as if they were connected directly to the server in the office.
